Q: What is your curl type?

One question that we receive often is: What is my curl type? How do I know if Raw Curls products will work for my curls?

While our water-soluble curl products will do great for ANY curl-type, if you are looking for form-making products, like gel or mousse, it may be a good idea to know what your curl type is FIRST, before you go out buying just any product all willy-nilly like.

To answer this question, we will refer to a few graphics which will help to illustrate some of the different types of curls that people can have, as well as a few reference images of some well-known celebrities to help you to better match your curl type to your curl products!

Next, pick one or two that are the most similar to your curls

Most times, this graphic is not going to perfectly match your curls. That's ok.

Our objective here is to get a good general idea so we can make informed decisions!
